Sacred Heart

This Saturday 11 of our players traveled to Sacred Heart University to compete in a tournament. Mollye Lipton, Tanya Welch, Liz Kadow, Sara Usher, Diana Morel, Connor Shumate, Nick Goralka, Dominic Baimonte, Dan Sobel, Nick Chen Schmidt and Michael Tobiasz played against students from Fairfield University, Clark University and Sacred Heart University. The tournament consisted of five different brackets: women's singles, men's singles, women's doubles, men's doubles and mixed doubles. Out of these five brackets we made it to five finals and won four! Liz was the women's champion, Dominic and Tanya were the mixed doubles champions, Dan and Connor defeated Michael and Nick Chen Schmidt in the men's doubles final, Dominic and Nick Goralka were the men's singles finalists and Mollye and Tanya lost a tight match in a tiebreaker in the women's doubles final.
