This weekend Northeastern hosted its annual fundraiser Midnight Madness. Each year the Huskies invite other teams from across New England to a tournament to raise money for a local charity. This year the Huskies donated to the Boston Brain Tumor Ride which is an event to raise funds for brain tumor specific programs (read more about it here). Thank you to WPI, BC, Northeastern and the Boston community for supporting our fundraiser for a very worthy cause!!! This weekend our team traveled to Georgetown in DC and won the annual Duel of the Districts tournament! Casey Geddes, Megan Kasetty, Lauren Trudeau, Izzy Mozdzierz-Monico, Katie Gilligan, Adam Gerger, Adrian Davila, Ben Lippolis and Nick Chen battled some of the best teams on the east coast to win the title. Congratulations to our players for a great tournament!  |
